Plan for this show

Shape the booth around the visitor, product, and work

Start with the real vehicle, part, or live demo. Its size, weight, access, power, sound, safety, and reset needs should shape the booth.

Design priorities

Three choices that shape a better SEMA Show booth

Each card covers one key choice. Answer the three prompts before layout work begins.

01

Plan around the real product

Measure every vehicle and part before the layout starts. Plan how each item enters, sits, stays clean, and leaves the booth.

Questions to answer
  • What must enter before the walls go up?
  • Which items need rated support?
  • Where will guests stop for photos?
02

Make each demo easy to follow

Give the host, product, screen, sound, and crowd a clear place. Hide cables and tools, and leave room for a quick reset.

Questions to answer
  • What will run live?
  • What power or safety steps are needed?
  • How long does each reset take?
03

Control freight and floor work

Heavy and high-value items need a clear chain of care. Define packing, freight, crew calls, storage, cleaning, and return steps.

Questions to answer
  • Which items belong to the client?
  • Where will crates and empties go?
  • Who signs each handoff?

Space planning

Pick a footprint after you know what must fit

Count products, live demos, meetings, storage, and staff first. Then choose the smallest space that supports the plan.

10x10 / 10x20

One product story, one screen or demo, a counter, secure storage, and direct talks.

20x20

A hero vehicle or product, live demos, storage, lead capture, and more than one talk area.

20x30 and larger

Several vehicles or products, hosted talks, broad visitor flow, and more freight and tech support.

Pre-show coordination

What we coordinate before move-in

Tell us your goals and footprint. We will coordinate these details so your exhibit arrives ready for the show floor.

  1. 01

    Check show rules and access

Confirm move-in, vehicle steps, freight, labor, power, rigging, fire review, and order dates.

  2. 02

    Share the product facts

Provide size, weight, lift points, fluids, fuel, batteries, operating state, and handling steps.

  3. 03

    Get needed safety reviews

Flag loads, supports, barriers, heat, and moving parts. Use qualified reviewers when the plan calls for them.

  4. 04

    Plan each live demo

Set the host, crowd area, power, sound, tools, waste, reset, and backup content before layout approval.

  5. 05

    Track every item

List each product, rented item, crate, tool, graphic, and device from arrival through return.

Frequently asked questions

SEMA Show exhibit questions

Get clear answers before you begin. We will confirm the details for your specific SEMA Show show during your consultation.

Where and when is the 2026 SEMA Show planned?

The official event page lists November 3–6, 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Check the organizer page for current rules and due dates.

Can the booth include a vehicle or heavy part?

It may, but we first need size, weight, access, lift points, operating state, and safety needs. The show and venue must also approve the plan when required.

What should we define for a live demo?

Define the product, host, crowd, steps, run time, reset, power, sound, heat, barriers, tools, waste, staff, and backup plan.

Is rigging part of every booth?

No. Rigging depends on the design, venue, show, schedule, and load. The provider, plans, due dates, access, and scope must be approved.

Can your team plan outside show services?

Yes, when that work is in the approved scope. Each provider still controls its own rules, schedule, requirements, and work.
